Compulsive Gambling Program

In a partnership with the Council on Gambling and Gam-A-Non, Atlantic Behavioral Health at Overlook Hospital has developed a program for the treatment of compulsive gamblers and their family members. Compulsive gambling is a progressive behavior disorder characterized by a psychological, uncontrollable preoccupation with and urge to gamble.

After evaluation, treatment may consist of individual or group therapy. Family members, who are concerned about the gambling behaviors of a loved one, are urged to call for an appointment.
